Before you call anyone
Do I need a permit for a kitchen renovation in Vancouver?
If you're moving plumbing, altering electrical, or changing a wall, yes. We pull and manage all permits as part of your fixed price — it is not a line item that appears later.
How long will I be without a kitchen?
Most full kitchen renovations run four to six weeks on site. We set up a temporary kitchen station on day one so you're not living on takeout for a month.
What happens if you find something behind the walls?
We document it, photograph it, and give you a written price before touching it. Nothing is added to your invoice without your signature.
Do you handle strata approvals and building forms?
Yes. We prepare the alteration agreement package, confirm approved work hours, and book elevators and loading bays directly with building management.
What's your payment schedule?
Staged draws tied to completed milestones — never a large deposit up front, and the final payment is due only after your punch list is cleared.
Are you insured and WorkSafeBC covered?
Yes to both. We carry $5M liability coverage and we'll hand you the certificates at the estimate without you having to ask.
